California Trip

This is a little out of order - we got back from CA on July 6th after a very very very long day at various airports. We had a wonderful time in California and we miss everyone already - we can't wait for our next visit.

Papa and I took the boys to train town and both had a great time!

Liam didn't want to leave the train when we stopped at the little town, I think he was afraid the train would leave without him or that he would lose his seat on the train. At any rate, it took a lot of coaxing to get him to venture out and even then, it was only for a few minutes.

Noah chilling out with some cheerios waiting for Liam to finish on the airplane ride.

This took several attempts, but he finally braved it. He chose NOT to raise the airplane up in the air...baby steps...
Grammy and Noah spending some quality time together.

The first of 3 birthday celebrations for Liam. We have recently told him his birthday is officially over...after a month of celebration. He is 5 years old now. Now he keeps asking when he will be 6...

Noah's favorite spot - inside the toy cabinet. There are no toys in it because he has chucked them all over the living room.

The 2nd birthday celebration for Liam - this time with cousins Ali and Joshi, and Papa Jack and Grammy Dink (Jeff's grandparents).

We had a visit from some dear family friends, the Hawkins. Liam and Marron enjoyed these water shooters.

With Dede and our children. We've known each other since we were almost 3 years old.

Uncle Stefan and Noah.

An afternoon and Papa Jack and Grammy Dink's house.

4th of July on the Sonoma Plaza. Doesn't he look happy?

Ali and Lindsay took good care of Noah on the 4th of July. Lindsay is the daughter of my old babysitter, Sheri. She was visiting her grandparents who live next door to my parents.
Front row seats at the parade. It was vicious out there, trying to get a spot to watch the parade. Again...doesn't Liam look so happy?
